Story

The game tells the story of Pineapple Kid, a courageous pineapple that lives in a distant land where pineapples live a happy life. The pineapples always dreamt of having a happier life in a place called Pineapple Paradise. The legendary Tower that can grant the passage to Pineapple Paradise is rumored to appear once in a 100 years but no one dared to challenge the Tower, and so the legend became only a tale. Until one day, Pineapple Kid stood up and made a journey to the Tower. This time the player (You!) can help out Pineapple Kid reach Pineapple Paradise!

About

Pineapple Kid is a puzzle game in which the player needs to solve maze-like levels and collect keys to advance further in the game. Get the highest score possible. The game consists of 7 stages, with each stage consisting of 10 levels. This makes a total of 70 levels. After this, you need to clear the final level.

Design History and system requirements

The software used for this game is GBDK in conjunction with ZGB. The compatibility rate is therefore 100% on all hardware that can play DMG Gameboy games.

About the Developer

MHZ Games consists of two brothers who’s hobby for playing games has extended to making them. One specialized in making video game music and the other in programming. With these two ingredients we can develop retro games for people to enjoy. All our development is done in our free time and we are glad to have made an actual Gameboy game to play on real hardware.
